Beyond Compliance: Advancing Responsible Business Conduct in East and Horn of Africa
The East and Horn of Africa Business and Human Rights Dialogue will convene representatives from the private sector, Government, civil society, development organizations, academia, investors, and business associations for a regional conversation on responsible business conduct and business and human rights.
The Dialogue will explore emerging trends, practical approaches, and opportunities for regional collaboration, with a focus on strengthening accountability, competitiveness, and rights-centred approaches across supply chains and value chains.
As part of the Dialogue, Global Compact Network Kenya will host a dedicated private sector session focused on practical and scalable approaches to responsible business conduct, including implementation challenges, evolving expectations, and opportunities for businesses to strengthen resilience and sustainability.
The engagement will provide a platform to discuss human rights and environmental due diligence, share practical experiences, and advance collaboration across East and Horn of Africa.
