Global Compact Kenya convened a half-day workshop for members on Anti-corruption collective action as a means to foster cooperation between various stakeholders to jointly counter corruption. The meeting was attended by fifty participants drawn from the business community, civil society and government who deliberated on a number of issues touching on major challenges, opportunities and enablers that can facilitate effective collective action initiatives. Participants prioritized a number of interventions they would like to pursue jointly to fight corruption such as ensuring full compliance to the Code of Ethics, lobbying for the Bribery Bill, self and peer audits of compliance frameworks among others.
