As businesses increasingly commit to sustainability, Communication on Progress (CoP) reporting has become a vital tool for enhancing corporate accountability, transparency, and impact measurement. The CoP enables companies to track their progress, identify gaps and enhance their sustainability journey in alignment with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.
Recognizing the significance of CoP reporting, Global Compact Network Kenya, led by Mary Waweru, Evonia Arina, and Lorraine Kithinji, hosted an in-person training session to enhance participants' understanding of CoP reporting, data visualization, and best practices for the 2025 reporting framework
The team introduced the newly launched CoP Data Visualization Tool, which provides access to one of the largest free, public, and comparable corporate sustainability datasets, allowing companies to benchmark their performance, analyze trends, and gain deeper insights into how businesses globally are integrating the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.
