About The Event
Joining the United Nations Global Compact marks a commitment to advancing responsible, sustainable and inclusive business practices. The New Participants Induction Session will introduce new participants to the United Nations Global Compact and Global Compact Network Kenya, providing practical guidance on how to engage with the Network and make the most of the opportunities available to participating organizations.
The session will cover the business case for sustainability, available programmes and initiatives, reporting and accountability expectations, and practical ways for participants to engage with the Network and advance responsible and inclusive business practices within their organizations.
The session will take place on Monday, 31 August 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Participation is intended for new participants of the United Nations Global Compact. Participants are encouraged to attend with a colleague who would also benefit from understanding the UN Global Compact and the opportunities available through the Network.
