Advancing Gender Equality Through Peer Learning and Action
Global Compact Network Kenya will host a Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI) Peer Learning Session following the GEDI Workshop under the 2026 Social Sustainability Impact Programme for the Agribusiness Sector. The session will provide participants with an opportunity to reflect on progress towards publicly committing to gender equality through the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and implementing their Gender Equality Action Plans. It will also feature a practical demonstration of the WEPs registration process and a company case study from Eastern Produce Kenya on advancing gender equality.
The session will take place on Friday, 14 August 2026, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Participation is limited to a closed group of nominated technical representatives from agribusiness organizations participating in the programme.
