We are thrilled to announce the induction of 12 new participants into the United Nations Global Compact today. These businesses have joined the world's largest sustainability initiative with a community of over 300 organizations in Kenya and more than 23,000 worldwide, all committed to aligning their operations with the UN Global Compact's Ten Principles, focusing on Human Rights, Labour, Environment, and Anti-Corruption.
During the induction, our new participants were introduced to the core principles of sustainable and responsible business conduct. They were also equipped with valuable tools and resources tailored to guide them on their sustainability journey.
